Riftbound is Riot’s try and deliver the deep lore and iconic characters from League of Legends into the TCG house. The sport goals to usher in each tabletop veterans and new gamers with a mixture of accessible and deep gameplay. A gameplay combine that, based on our preview, seems to be heading in the right direction. The sport will help 1v1, 2v2, and 4-player free-for-all codecs.
The Riftbound Spiritforged teaser does show Riot’s dedication to supporting their TCG sport. It’s a house that has been closely dominated for many years by the likes of Magic: The Gathering and the Pokemon TCG. However newer competitors, Disney Lorcana, has proven a spot will be made in that house with the correct quantity of attraction and gameplay polish.
The teaser does invite some questions. The set will characteristic two premade Champion Decks. Who shall be featured in these decks? How will the sport’s champions be represented on this new TCG format? Solely time will inform.
